I need to take a short break for my mental and physical health. I'm not going anywhere, and I'll get back to being active and posting again as soon as some of these RL issues are sorted. Felt the need to let you know about my MIA status since I've not really been posting on here lately.
With the now-ex roommate still causing a few issues [trying to keep getting his mail sent here, blackmailing - he knows a few things about me I'd rather not be publicly known, and outright bullying], we've had to deal with that. We're also having to clean up after his mess. When he left, his room was filthy - stains on the walls and floor and smelled like rotten food, unwashed bodies [and other nasty human smells I'll not go into more detail on], and various other nasty things that have been left for us to deal with. We're renting a steam cleaner, and we're going to have to steam the walls too [apparently that will help with the smell when we scrub them].
I've also had to deal with failing one of my criminal investigations classes because he was -always- sure to log on to WoW or IMVU JUST when I needed to log on for class or to turn in homework. The teacher was only so understanding. I passed one class, but the other I'm now having to redo. Which leads me in to my next reason for needing a short break - I have 3 papers due in less than a week and I'm only partly done with them. They're all 3+ pages and are quite complex subjects that are requiring a fair bit of research. Stressing out over those and trying to make sure that my leisure writing is also up to par is stressing me out right now, and I don't honestly feel that I can give 100% to the thread I'm in or tweak anything on Wrath. I may actually drop him, loathe as I am to do that, because I just don't know that I've the means to go back through his entire bio to rewrite the sheet with two incredibly busy and complex classes. Perhaps when I've cooled down a bit with that and with the roommate issue - and with the stupid papers for school - I'll bring him back. For now, I think I shall have to relegate him to the back burner for RP.
Anywho... I thought I'd let you guys know why I'm mostly not here or only logging on for brief moments. I'm not away forever, though! Erik'll be back in action asap.

But I hope things start getting better, both your health and your criminal investigations class! Good luck on those papers - I know how much I hate writing papers, especially multiple ones at the same time. And also getting your room clean - that sounds horribly unpleasant.
