During his years in Persia the Phantom learned many techniques to torture information out of a man and to prevent people from going where they shouldn't and when he built this place he put a few in to stop people getting to him. The room is filled with mirrors and there are only two ways in which someone can escape the ordeal: hang themselves with the noose or pray they'll be released.
