LETS JUST COVER THE BASICS, ALRIGHT?
full name: Wrath Eros the Second
how do we pronounce that?: R-ath Err-oes
nicknames: None
age & birthday: 30, 2 May
occupation: [Self] Exiled King
what kind of money you making?: Upper Class
ethnicity: Caucasian
face claim: Andrei Claude
appearance: Wrath is a towering male, bordering on 6'4" before his boots are even on. He is muscular, with incredibly broad shoulders, a wide chest, and overall large body. He is not quite able to be qualified as a true giant, but he comes close. This has set him apart from many others, including the rest of the royal family. He has eerie green eyes that seem to see straight through you, right into your soul, though it's clear he can't see much of anything with them. He's mostly blind, with only shapes and brilliant colors getting through the blackness.
He holds himself with a confidence still the same, and moves with sure steps. These only falter if he's in unfamiliar territory alone. He carries a set of daggers in a chest harness that are always on under his coats and smoking jackets. His hair is long and wild, coming down to his waist when it's not pulled back in a ribbon. It's true black, a rare color to see. His face is handsome, the features frightening yet alluring. He is overall quite large, and this gives him an even more frightening air than the attitude he carries himself with. His expressions are fairly neutral, though there is a deep sadness underneath everything that he usually manages to hide, as well as a deep hatred.
Aside from towering over everyone else - due to a birth defect that made him grow abnormally large, but still retain fairly normal dimensions otherwise, he's a giant with regular proportions - wrath's eyes are an intense yet light green that always have pinpricks of pupils due to his blindness.
Wrath tends to wear only the finest. He prefers silk shirts and leather breeches, knee high boots of various styles, and he loves full long coats, cloaks, and the like. His preferred colors are blacks and greys, but he will wear deep greens and blues as well. Reds are rare, but are occasionally seen. He has a pair of dark glasses that he wears to cover his almost blind eyes.
I LIKE HOW YOUR MIND WORKS, BABY.
likes: Absinthe, music - opera in particular, being in charge, feeling wanted, sailing, fighting, pretty faces, fashionable clothing, the countryside, strong and rich smells, people who overlook his near blindness.
dislikes: Loudmouths, young and arrogant know it alls, those who feel entitled without a good reason, bad music, nancies, the lack of vision, himself, his past, reminders of his past, nightmares.
fears: Losing his vision entirely, being seen as weak, losing fights, dying, not dying [he's a walking contradiction sometimes], his past.
habits: Picking fights, drinking, smoking [occasionally], avoiding his past, spending time at the Opera.
strengths: Leader, strength of body and mind, confidence, his looks, intelligent, money.
weakness: Absinthe, his past, flashbacks, a deep shame he tries to hide, his lack of eyesight, stubborn, proud, and arrogant.
goals: To be able to be left in peace and not have to rule, to have a real family.
secret(s): Wrath has a death wish that sometimes grabs hold of his otherwise good judgment and he'll find himself doing things he normally wouldn't. This usually occurs when he is alone, and has ended with some near misses. Though one of the servants in his house knows, the man is far too loyal for his own good and doesn't say anything.
Wrath's biggest secret is the fact that he hid and did not fight when his family was killed while he was a teen. He is still ashamed of this.
personality: Wrath seems imposing and uncaring when you first meet him. This won't change for a very long time, if at all, for most people. He is standoffish and can seem downright cruel at times, but this is to keep people at bay. Wrath is alone in the world, his real family having been killed, and this makes him sour, bitter, and full of hatred toward those who did the deed. He also has a deep self loathing that stems from the fact that he was unable to save them, and feels that he is weak, flawed, and unfit to be a king.
He is in deep emotional pain, and he does not wish to become close to others for fear of losing them - either through death or their disdain of him, which he seems to expect when his history becomes known. He hides a deep sadness and loneliness inside, due to his past, but anyone who tries to bring this up is met with an angry and abrupt front. He blocks any attempts at friendship and compassion, and will go on the offensive if someone even tries to suggest he might be weak. He is a warrior, and the suggestion of weakness is highly offensive to him.
His blindness is another source of contention for him, and he is insecure about it. He can see basic shapes, and brilliant colors, but nothing more. Reading is impossible, as is navigating most places alone. His pride refuses to let him ask for help, but he has begrudgingly let a manservant help him. He feels that this weakness of eyesight is something a king should not have, and feels that he is a failure and weak.
At the same time, he has a stubborn streak and a warriors heart and will not stand by and let someone else be harmed while he is there, regardless of the lack of vision or risk of bodily harm to himself. He is confident in his skills, and though he cannot see, he still makes a very unpleasant adversary in a fight.
He is somewhat offput by many of the more modern Paris, and the customs are still a struggle for him, but he is starting to adapt. These struggles don't help with his inability to open up to anyone any.
YOU MIND IF WE GET A LITTLE PHYSICAL, LOVE?
[/CENTER]sexuality: Bisexual
turn ons: Clean, intelligent, beautiful voice and face [he may not be able to see it, but he can touch and imagine], kindness, strong of body and mind, the ability to look past an individual's past and frailties and see them for who they really are. An hourglass figure on a woman, a well toned musculature on a man's.
turn offs: Filth, cruelty [he's cruel enough for the both, thank you, and feels he needs someone to balance him out.], rougher language - especially among females, overly strong scents [his nose is stronger due to the lack of sight], obnoxious, loudmouth, busybodies, gossipers. Low intelligence, lack of knowledge [one can be intelligent and yet be un-knowledgeable on something], intolerant of physical frailties [such as his vision], gold-diggers.

history: Wrath Eros the Second was born to his parents in a small country in the middle European continent. He was born to the king and queen, and the prince was loved from the first moment they laid eyes on him. He was, in their eyes, perfection. It became clear, though, as he grew, that he was not perfect. He was, in fact, far from it.
A frail and somewhat weak body started to fill out and grow to almost unnatural proportions, and his eyes were weak, unable to see except the faintest hint of shapes and colors. With a lot of strain and good lighting, he could see letters if they were well written, but more often than not, he had to rely on others. His body may have grown large, but he was not able to control it, and the strength that came with it. As such, he was as weak as a small and scrawny peasant. Even this seemed to not phase his parents.
But when a rival country overran his borders and attacked his parents home, due to a servant who betrayed them, he was hidden in a secret room meant to hide the most valuable of the family's assets - in this case, him. He could only watch in horror as his parents and all who lived there were slaughtered. He screamed through it all, but could not bring himself to attack the invaders. And when the attack grew silent and they searched for him, he too fell silent, fearing death and discovery.
He has never forgiven himself for living while his family died. After the soldiers moved on, rebels who were of his country came and found him and helped train him as a warrior. After several years, he was ready. Though his father had taught him the basics, they'd feared he would not be able to handle the more complex and brutal training. But he was a warrior at heart, and when this strength was found, he became the man he felt he should have been. But he still never forgave himself for the failure to save his parents.
After retaking his country, he ruled for a short few years. Though a good and just king, his people were not satisfied and forced a fiancee on him. She loved him, for a time, but soon discovered he had no feelings for her. She has since moved out and away from him, and is searching for a new male to be able to call her husband. She never wished to be queen, so this worked out for the better. Though they are officially still engaged, he will release her from the engagement once he [or she] find someone they wish to be with.
His people have become discontent with his laid back ruling, and lack of regard for court and other matters that he feels are foolish or stupid [or arrogant on their part], and have started to cause trouble for him. Rather than deal with them, and the kingdom, he has given over the ability to rule to his second in command, who will make decisions and rule in his stead until he is able and ready to take his place as king. [Which, if he has his way, will be never.]
He has recently come to Paris to start over, and though the nobility know who he is, and what he is , he has thus far been successful at avoiding all their tiresome functions. He hates the preening and prancing of the nobility. He is shortly to meet with the managers at the Opera, in order to discuss funding some of the shows, as well as to ask them which box they would recommend he purchase - he wants to have a seasonal box for as long as he is in Paris.
He is also hoping to have help learning the customs and the more advanced ways in Paris, since his country was behind, and still mostly stuck in the middle ages. It has been a complete culture shock for him.
IS THAT ALL WE NEED TO KNOW?
